Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota’s longest running series, is coming to rule the road with its new 2016 version. The Land Cruiser gets more and more luxurious with each version. The newest in the series comes with many upgrades that will satisfy its users’ on road needs.
For example, the 5.7L fully loaded Us version. Let’s take a look at its improved chrome molded exterior: the bumper, front fenders and the hood done in sheet metal, a muscular grille, LED low and high beam headlights, the Toyota Land Cruiser logo on the body, 18 inch alloy wheel, light tube design taillights and LED brake lights and finishing it off with an enhanced bumper.
The Toyota Land Cruiser users will enjoy their seating which is made of semi-aniline perforated leather that gives a sofa like feel. The interior will come in two colors- black or Terra, with a Deep Wood trim. The front seats are heated and vented and the second row can be slid or reclined as needed. Other features include Smart Key key-less entry, moon roof, rear and side mirrors with auto dim, HomeLink that allows garage door opening. A micro dust and pollen filter will give out clean air through 28 air vents. The inside climate can be made cozy with four-zone automatic climate control.
The Land Cruiser 2016 will have a bundle of changes in its infotainment area. The driver can access Siri Eyes Free with just a push of a button on the wheel. The wheel will also feature controls for the display, dynamic radar cruise and the Toyota Safety Sense P system. Wireless phone charging will be available for Qi supporting devices. There will be a nine inch touch screen and the Cruiser will be equipped with a JBL Premium Sound system and Toyota Entune App Suite. Passengers at the rear can enjoy watching DVDs on 11.6 inch monitors.
Toyota makes sure its passengers are safe by a security system with engine immobilizer, antilock brakes, brake assist, ten airbags and active headrests.
With its 381 hp and 401 lb ft 5.7 liter engine, the Toyota Land Cruiser can tow up to 8,500 pounds. The EPA has rated its fuel economy to be 13 mpg in the city, a generous 18 on the highway and a combined 15 mpg.
